Why the Acorn 180 curved price can change after a survey

• Model and condition. Does the quote specify a new or reconditioned 130 or 180? For a refurbished lift, ask which parts have been replaced and who supplies the warranty.
• Total fitted price. Ask for one total covering the chair, rail and installation, with any hinged rail, powered swivel seat or electrical work itemised. Ask the supplier to show how it has treated VAT.
• Aftercare. Check how long the cover lasts, whether it includes call-outs as well as parts and labour, and what an annual service costs after cover ends.
