Why You Need the Correct Stairlift Manual

Stairlift instructions can differ between manufacturers, models and even different seat or control versions within the same product family.

Do not assume that a manual for a similar-looking stairlift applies to yours. Identify the brand and model first, then use the appropriate guide.

What Can a Stairlift User Manual Help With?

A user manual can explain normal operation, charging, user controls, seat and footrest operation, remote controls, routine care and the meaning of some display indicators.

Technical repairs should be left to appropriately qualified personnel.

No assumption should be made that instructions are interchangeable. Controls, charging systems and safety features can differ between models and revisions.

An official user manual exists for the Acorn 130. Select Acorn and model 130 in the finder to access the verified manufacturer source.

Stannah provides different 600 manuals depending on the seat/version, including Siena, Starla and Sofia/Solus. Select the version fitted to your stairlift where possible.

Some older manuals still exist, but source quality varies. We only add a download or external manual link once the model and source have been adequately verified.
